Account Executive - Enterprise - New England

Job Summary:

Drive new and existing business in the New England and Upsate NY territory through strong solution selling skills, reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales Commercial Account in the US. Must have successful track record of independent selling in a geographic territory and working with partners and channels. 8+ years of solution selling skills in the contact center space preferred.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility will be to drive new sales activity and business in defined territory and with named accounts through partners by solution selling. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and deal at the C Level and below. Enterprise selling success is key.

  • New England and Upstate NY Territory
  • Selling Call Center Solutions: Software (IVR, Speech, CTI, Voice Bio Metrics, Mobile, Web Virtual Agents) and Professional Services to Enterprise Customers
  • Anticipated Quota: $3- $5M
  • Products in Portfolio: Nuance Inbound and Outbound Customer Care Solutions including; Network Speech Products, Nuance Cloud IVR,Nuance Mobility solutions, NINA and digital solutions like NINA and Chat, Nuance Notification Hub (Outbound) Nuance Professional Services, Third Party IVR and CTI (Avaya, Genesys and Cisco) and Voice Bio Metrics
  • Named accounts HQ’d in the Region are: TBD
  • Target markets to focus on; Banking, Retirement Savings, Health Insurance, Insurance (Life and P&C), Utilities.
  • Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing

Number of Years of Work Experience:8+ years of direct or inside end-user sales experience, selling complex, large-scale projects to the large Enterprise and effective territory development and execution. Also strong relationships with the partner and channel community.

Required Skills:

  • Technical proficiency in computing, telephony and systems integration disciplines
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office and other desktop applications, including but not limited to Sales Force
  • Ability to work with a minimum of direct supervision and with demonstrate initiative
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of business and technical management
  • Excellent written, verbal, and stand-up presentation skills.

Education:BS preferred in technical discipline
