We are seeking a Sr. Technical Revenue Accountant with strong organizational and analytical skills to support the Auto, Devices/Mobile division. This resource will support the Sr. Manager with deal support, Salesforce,com/Contract Management System, revenue guidance write-ups, ASC 606 deal documentation, studies and analytics. The Sr. Technical Revenue Accountant will be able to present data in a comprehensive and articulate manner to some of the key leaders, truly making a business impact.
- Work with Sales and Technical Revenue Accounting (TRA) Senior Management to develop deal structures which accomplish customer objectives while yielding desired economics and accounting outcomes for Nuance
- Review and document complex, multi-element sales contracts to support compliance with applicable authoritative literature
- Prepare and review periodic studies (including Fair Value, customer life, etc.)
- Manage and execute revenue key controls
- Provide Senior Management with financial reporting information and operational support
- System implementation, testing and documentation of new accounting system for ASC 606 adoption
Number of Years of Work Experience: 5
Knowledge of revenue recognition standards (ASC 605, 606, SOP 81-1, SAB 104, ASU 2009-13 & 14), Excel
Knowledge of Salesforce, Oracle, Rev Pro a plus
Education: Accounting / Finance degree
