Summary: Nuance Communications, Inc. is looking for an Outbound Business Development Representative to join its team in Melbourne Florida. The Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) main responsibility will be to call into targeted accounts and set up meetings for their respective sales representative. They will identify new customers through outbound calling into targeted accounts and work with those healthcare organizations to understand their needs. He/she will nurture them until they meet specified qualifications and then transfer the opportunity to his/her inside or field sales representative counterpart.
• Outbound calling to continuously add new prospects and develop a pipeline
• Connect with prospects over the telephone, describe Nuance solutions and how they improve the customer’s current environment with the goal to set up an appointment
• Qualify prospects against established criteria prior to passing them to inside reps, field reps as marketing qualified leads
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to identify opportunities and potential campaigns
•Receive pre-determined groups of prospects back from field or inside sales for further nurturing using telephone, email and social media tools
•Comply with all lead-management-related service-level agreements
•Collaborate with marketing and sales to identify opportunities and potential campaigns
•Track and manage prospecting, qualification and nurture activities in Salesforce.com
